- 1962年以前スペインのバルデスピノ家により輸入されたキューバ産ラム。エステベス家が1999年にバルデスピノ家の貯蔵庫を買収した際に、バルデスピ家Miguel Valdespino氏が新オーナーに語った内容は、1940年代前半にキューバで蒸留された原酒をスペインに輸入し、オロロッソシェリー樽に詰め、以来、手を付けず貯蔵していたとのこと。ベルデスピノの日本代理店JISが1999年に輸入した貴重品。

The back label reads: When the Estevez family became owners of the bodega Valdespino in 1999, Miguel Valdespino himself told them about some casks of very special old rum. The rum had been distilled in Cuba during the early part of the 1940s and then shipped to Spain soon after. It was then stored in oak casks previously used for maturing in Oloroso Sherry and has remained untouched ever since.
